Cave Diving Eagles Nest Upstream & Downstream HD

Cave Diving Eagles Nest Sink Upstream & Downstream HD from Liquid Productions, LLC on Vimeo.

Rebreathers, Trimix, DPV's, 600 watts of light and our cameras traveled 2000 feet Upstream to Kings Challenge illuminating one of the most unique underwater cave systems in Florida. The passageways in Eagles Nest is so large we could still only light a section of it. We spent an hour at 270' to capture this never before seen video.

This video was shot over 2 days. One day for Upstream and a second day for the Downstream section. We swam downstream so the video will take you past the Lockwood jump down into the Pit. This video is an updated version to my 2007 Eagles Nest Video.

Please do not attempt to dive Eagles Nest Sink unless you are fully trained to do so.

Underwater Lights & Lighting
We interview Barry Miller of Salvo who has been designing underwater lights for over 14 years. Learn about  LED's vs. HID's, different battery types, light output, lumens, and more in this informational video. Hopefully it will help you decide which light is best for your specific diving!

Tiger Beach: Bahamas
Tiger Beach is located about 20 miles North of the West End of Grand Bahamas. It's not an actual beach, it's a shallow sandbar 20 feet deep at the edge of a deep-water drop off. Tiger Beach is home to several species of sharks including Lemon Sharks, Tiger Sharks, and the occasional Hammerhead! Crystal clear waters provide the perfect place to encounter and photograph these amazing animals in their own environment. We used no cages, no chain-mail, ONLY cameras to document the sharks.

Manatee Fun

This is some video from a recent snorkel trip to Crystal River in Florida. These are just some short clips I edited together for a Dive Club Presentation, I'm working on a longer piece with narration. Coming soon!

Manatees are gentle giants that migrate up into the warm clear springs in the winter time when the ocean temperatures drop below 65 degrees. Their bodies don't contain much fat so they need warmer water to avoid frost byte and hypothermia. They are an endangered species with only about 3000 remaining. Crystal River is one of the only places you can swim with them. Its an amazing experience to be in the water with such large graceful creatures!

Enjoy the video!

New Release in Widescreen Format. Visit the Online Store to order your copy.

The Mill Pond Experience explores three popular caves in Merritt’s Mill pond located in Marianna Florida. This DVD won’t just be following divers through a cave, or mounting a video camera atop a scooter. We show the cave from many angles and sequences. It’s information and history about the surrounding area, including footage from these impressive systems! Different than Gainesville caves, Jackson Blue, Twin, and Hole in the Wall feature mostly white limestone, a plethora of fossils, cave salamanders, and plenty of cave to explore. We interviewed experts in the area to see what they have to say about diving these sites.
