Becky Kagan, Owner / Underwater Videographer & Photographer CREDITS

 

Becky has always been attracted to water, but her curiosity about what lay beneath the waves really became an obsession from a young age. She always knew documenting the underwater world is what she wanted to do. Becky is  a professional underwater videographer. As an award winning Photojournalist she has worked for major news networks including CBS and Fox News, shooting video in all types of situations from major hurricanes to the Presidential Election. She has over 15 years of dive experience logging thousands of hours underwater in various conditions and extreme environments. She's a NAUI Instructor, and holds certifications in Cave diving, Trimix, Nitrox, and several Rebreathers. Her projects have taken her all over the globe from shooting video of WWII wrecks in Truk Lagoon, beautiful walls in Fiji, Tiger Sharks in the Bahamas, to photographing the vast underground Florida cave systems.  She has acquired a client list including National Geographic, The Military channel, Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution, and the National Park Service using the latest in HD and 3-D technology. Becky’s underwater photography and articles have been published in Advanced Diver Magazine, Dive Training, Books and used in advertising. She holds a Bachelors degree from the University of Tampa.

 

Becky was an underwater cameraman and Talent on the TV series "Quest for Sunken Warships" airing on the Military Channel & Discovery science. She's also worked on several projects with the National Park Service diving in Lake Mead documenting invasive Quagga muscles and a B-29 bomber that crash landed in the lake in 1948. In 2007 she released her first full length DVD "The Mill Pond Experience "exploring three of Marianna Florida's beautiful cave systems and in 2009 released "The Bare Bones of Spearfishing" an informational guide to underwater hunting. She's currently working on several other "surface" and underwater documentaries including Producing a documentary on the deepest underwater cave system in the United States.

 

Teaching scuba for 10 years now she's worked in may facets of the dive industry from retail, education to the Shark dive Experience at the Florida Aquarium. One of the biggest rewards of her career has been sharing her passion of diving with others by introducing hundreds of students to the underwater world, and leading dive excursions around the globe.

 

Becky feels fortunate to be able to combine her two passions in life, photography and diving. She focuses on capturing extreme environments such as wreck penetration and caves, but also believes in conservation through education, and there is no better way to educate someone about our underwater world than through compelling imagery.


David Schott, MBA: Managing Member / Underwater Videographer  CREDITS


David Schott is a Producer and Professional Underwater Videographer, diving since 1999 he's logged thousands of dives both openwater and technical. Living and working in the Philadelphia area, he first became actively involved in Northeast wreck diving. he then earned his full cave certification and began diving cave systems in Florida and Mexico. After numerous technical dives, Dave realized the  need to switch to closed circuit rebreathers in order to extend bottom times for videography on deep and technical cave dives. With  hundreds of dives on both his Megalodon Rebreather, he has the comfort, technical ability, and skill needed to provide technical  support for deep dives in many challenging environments ranging from the shallows of the Caribbean to depths in excess of 300 feet off of New Jersey  and North and Central American Cave systems.

 

Dave earned his Bachelor's degree in Economics/Public Policy at Lebanon Valley College. He completed his MBA at Widener University with a concentration in Finance and Marketing in 2004. Dave commits his time and availability to pursue an active dive schedule and to the management of Liquid Productions, LLC. He is currently certified in Trimix, Full Cave, Megalodon CCR, and numerous other certifications.

 

David has worked as a model, safety diver, underwater cameraman, and topside videographer on documentaries and educational DVD's from the caves of Florida to the Dry Tortugas. He is currently working as one of the primary underwater videographers documenting the deepest cave in the United States at over 400 feet deep. He was the Director of Photography for a documentary on the Florida Middle Grounds and has experience shooting aerials, and even trekking through the swamp for the perfect shot.
